Can journalling help me?
Coming into 2026, journalling seems to be everywhere, but have you wondered how it could help your journey with CBD this year. We’ve talked elsewhere about gratitude journalling and how much we find that it helps us but there are many other types out there.

Here at Unspun we know personally the huge benefits that CBD has brought to our lives but often wonder just how much and wish that we had thought to document it, so here’s your chance.
Keep a record of how you feel on a typical day, perhaps even before starting your CBD adventure with us. This can be on your phone or computer but it is often thought that creating a physical journal of your experience enables you to focus on it more clearly.
You could use a scoring chart (when I woke up I felt 10/10 but it went to 5/10 by lunch time), you could use smiley / sad faces (taking you back to your childhood!), you could write down how you feel every few hours in a physical diary or you could use one of the many journals out there on the market and tailor it to your own needs.

If rest is your priority - make a note of your sleep patterns – the time you went to sleep, when you woke and more importantly how you felt when you woke up. Many of us reply on technology to monitor our sleep but the quality of that sleep is what really matters. Over time you will be able to see whether CBD is helping your sleep or if you need to consider changing the time of day you take it or the dose you choose.
If stress levels are your priority – make a note of moments of stress in your day, and how they affect you, would CBD gummies help at this point, or a block of CBD chocolate, just to help centre your feelings, or might a higher dose in the morning on work days be beneficial.
If pain and inflammation are your priority – what are the key times when you are struggling, would regular doses throughout the day be better than a larger dose in the morning. Would taking our dose before bed help you to wake up feeling more comfortable.
