Single-origin Colombian Dark Chocolate infused with CBD

If you’re new here – we’re Unspun, a UK-based CBD company, and this is our newest creation. A 100g dark chocolate bar made with 60% cocoa, using single-origin Colombian beans and infused with 100mg of high-quality CBD isolate. Smooth. Silky. Indulgent.

We’ve been quietly working on it for six months – and we’re so happy to finally share it with you.

The chocolate

We know how hard it is to find a CBD chocolate bar that actually tastes good. We didn’t want to release just another one. It had to be something you’d genuinely crave. So we searched high and low for cacao we loved – and we found it in Colombia.

Our cacao is single-origin, and the bar is 60% cacao – dark, but not too bitter. If you’re into tasting notes, we’d say it’s smooth and slightly fruity, with aromatic, almost tropical hints. It melts in your mouth, delicious without being overpowering – and just a little bit moreish. Honestly, comparing all the different versions during development wasn’t the worst part of the job! We’re so happy with where we landed. It holds its own as an enjoyable dark chocolate beautifully.

The texture

We get it – texture matters. At first, we assumed we’d use dairy. But in testing, it didn’t sit right. The flavour felt muddled and the CBD didn’t shine.

Soy turned out to be the hero. It gave us a smooth, consistent melt that let the chocolate and CBD do their thing. As a bonus, it also makes the bar completely plant-based. Good for you, good for the planet.

The CBD

You want chocolate. Not something that tastes like CBD. Most of our products use Broad Spectrum CBD. But in chocolate, it just didn’t work. The flavour was too dominant – and with all the effort we put into sourcing exceptional cacao, we weren’t willing to let that go to waste. We don’t think you would want that either.

So, we made the call to use isolate CBD. That shift changed everything. The chocolate shines – and the CBD does its job quietly in the background.

The strength

We’ve all got different needs. That’s why this bar contains 100mg of CBD – just over 4mg per square.

If you’re new to CBD, it’s a gentle way to ease in. If you’re already using it, it’s a delicious new way to get your daily serving.

We tested stronger versions during development, but anything over 100mg started to mess with the taste. And frankly, we didn’t want to compromise. We figured you wouldn’t want us to either.

The packaging

We wanted to make something that feels like a treat from the moment you pick it up.

So, we went for a bold, fun design. Something that looks great on your shelf, feels good in your hands, and is easy to open and close. Because let’s be real – you’re probably not eating the whole bar in one go. (But if you do – no judgement!)
