CBD pain relief: Reducing vasectomy recovery pain on the NC500
I had a vasectomy and went on a road trip. Not ideal by any means, but I got to see some fantastic beaches, develop my thinking on sharing responsibility around birth control and find a new use for CBD. This is my personal experience with CBD pain relief.

A little about me
I am a 34-year-old man with two children, in a committed relationship and no desire for more children. Seriously, two is enough. After years of my partner bearing the responsibility of birth control, it was my turn. So, it was time for the snip.

The Scottish Highlands are breathtaking. We stumbled upon beaches that were nothing short of spectacular, some of the most pristine and untouched I've ever seen. With each enthusiastic request from my five-year-old for “just one more beach stop”, I found myself silently thanking the CBD for keeping the post-snip discomfort to a minimum.

Taking Responsibility
Driving through the incredible Scottish landscape gave me plenty of time to think. As we aspire to a more equal society, it really should be normalised that men take a proactive role in family planning. Vasectomies are a safe option and a step towards balance in a relationship. It's worth a discussion, isn't it? For men in a similar position to myself, considering a vasectomy is our way of sharing the responsibility. It's a topic that deserves a spot in our everyday conversations.
So my challenge to men who have children and are confident they don't want more. Consider the snip. It's a step towards shared responsibility, highly effective, and honestly, recovery isn't as bad as it's made out to be. And if some aches and pains do come along, CBD might just be the answer.
